Brain Food

Apparently there’s food for the brain! Who knew?

The other night in a restaurant, one of my friends said, “I’m going to have the fish, it’s good for the brain, it’s brain food”
“What?” I said “Brain food? Never heard of it, obviously I haven’t been eating the right things. Do you think there’s food that will make you look like a goddess? (Actually I said “sex goddess” but I don’t want to lower the tone)

With that, I thought I saw the 2 priests who were eating at a table next to us slightly blush. Guess I need to keep my voice down.

So, if you want to be smarter and boost your brain power you need to eat whole grains, oily fish, nuts, green vegetables, and lots of blueberries and black currants. Oh and red wine is apparently good for it too which is probably the best place to start. That ought to do it for cognitive growth.

It does make sense though, although if you have a well balanced diet you shouldn't’t need to focus on any one part of your body. Unless you want to be a goddess of course; I’m still working on that, it’s going to be a long process.

There are tips on the web for aspiring goddesses and funny enough brain food isn't mentioned in any of them. Imagine that!

Drink This:

Malbec - well it does taste like Blueberries!

There is evidence to suggest that these foods can reduce your risk of Alzheimers disease too. Really, it's just about eating well though.
