Honey Yogurt Tahini Dip

I was looking for something different to go with my Spiced Chickpea Fritters and came up with this little dip.

As far as dips go it doesn't get any easier - just bung everything in together and bob's yer uncle.

The Tahini is a brilliant leveler in this dish which could be a bit creamy for some - it adds texture and nuttiness.

Also both the mint and lime bring a freshness to this classic tasting dip.

You could add some grated (and drained) cucumber if you're looking for something a bit meatier or a pinch of chilli if you like spice.

I served this with the Spicy Chick Pea Fritters which were lovely bit this could easily go with chicken, burgers, grilled lamb, roasted vegetables or on it's own as a dip.

Honey Yogurt Tahini Dip


150g Sour Cream or Creme Fraiche

150g Plain Yogurt - stirred

150g Tahini 

1 tsp Honey

Juice of 1 small lime

1 tbsp Mint - chopped

The Mix: 

Blend or process all ingredients together until smooth.
